CORE Association of Realtors is pleased to welcome Gloria Monks as 2020 President, as of January 1.
In her remarks at the 2019 Jingle Mingle and Installation of Leadership in December, President Monks said, “As CORE’s chief elected leader, I will be working hard to support our association and our valued members by listening carefully to and supporting the work of my fellow officers and board members, of our committee chairs and committee members, and of our fine staff.”
She also commented on last year’s merger of Mercer County Association of Realtors and Hunterdon/Somerset Association of Realtors to form CORE.
“Two amazing associations have become one, and our strength will be in our unity and our ability to work as one for the good of all,” she said.
“So, I invite each of you to join me as we create the bright future that was envisioned by our merger teams. This is an exciting time at CORE. We are blessed with a great many people offering to work hard to make CORE one of the best local Realtor associations in the U.S. I look forward to working with all of you and celebrating our many successes at this time next year.”
Prior to being named President of CORE, Monks served as President of the Mercer County Association of Realtors in 2013 and as a Board Member for more than ten years. She also has 15 years of real estate office executive management experience and two decades of real estate accounting experience.
In addition to her role at CORE, Monks is the Broker Manager for Berkshire Hathaway Home Services, Fox & Roach Realtors in Princeton Junction. She also will continue service on the New Jersey Realtors’ Board of Directors and as chair of its Convention Committee and Vice Chair of its Risk Management Committee. Additionally, she will serve on the National Association of Realtors’ Board of Directors.
